Mangata is based on Scandinavian cuisine, with a stronger focus on Swedish dishes.
One of the signature menus is Swedish meatballs (Köttbullar), served with mashed potatoes, cream sauce, and raspberry pickles as part of the course meal.
It is a Nordic-style course dining experience hidden in the quiet alleys of Bukchon.
With only a small number of tables, it offers a serene and private atmosphere, combining the elegance of a renovated traditional Hanok interior.
Reservations tend to fill up quickly, so we recommend booking at least 30 days in advance.
<Reservation Types>
Mangata Course Reservation (1–8 guests): Chef’s tasting menu featuring 5 courses.
Mangata À La Carte Reservation (1–4 guests): Scandinavian à la carte dishes, modern interpretations of Swedish-based ingredients and techniques.
Notes:
One bottle corkage is free per table when ordering the course menu.
Please inform us in advance if you have allergies to shellfish, nuts, or other ingredients.
The restaurant is open to guests aged 14 and above only.
For course reservations, signature dishes cannot be mixed with other options.
Korean Hanwoo sirloin must be requested in advance at the time of reservation.
If you arrive late, your dining time may be shortened due to subsequent reservations. The designated course dining duration is 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Break time is from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
